Boots No. 7 Hydrating Mineral Water Spray - pics, review

Hello, Beautiful!

Drugstore makeup setting sprays are hard to come by for some reason, but the Boots No. 7 Hydrating Mineral Water Spray is a dual purpose type of product -- it will hydrate your skin and also help to set your makeup. Check out my full review below, including all the product info, after the pics!

Boots No. 7 - Hydrating Mineral Water Spray

Boots No. 7 Hydrating Mineral Water Spray Info & Review:
Cost/Availability: $9.99 (3.38 fl oz full size). Available on the Boots website, at Target, at Ulta, at Walgreens, on the Drugstore.com website, and everywhere else Boots No. 7 skincare is sold.
My Rating: 4 out of 5 Kisses

This non-greasy mineral water spritz instantly hydrates and leaves skin feeling fresh. It cools, refreshes and hydrates all day long.

To Use: Keeping eyes closed, hold 12 inches from the face and spray onto the skin in a fine mist. Use as part of your cleansing routine after your moisturizer to lock in hydration or to set make-up or any time throughout the day to hydrate and cool skin.

I honestly never was into hydrating sprays because I always had oily skin, but over the past year my skin has been dramatically changing to combo and even to dry skin. It's going through weird phases and I've been using more and more hydrating products.

I use this mainly to set my make-up, after I apply any powder products to my face to help take down some of that powder look. It's also a great prep spray to use after you apply a moisturizer and before you apply your foundation. It's affordable too - which is the best part, as products like this are harder to find in the drugstore.

I think this is a nice option that works well, and if you're looking for a makeup setting spray/hydrating spray that's affordable, then this is for you!

Milani Lip Intense Liquid Color Info & Review:

My Rating: 4.5 out of 5 Kisses

Milani's new Lip Intense Liquid Color is infused with pure pigments for a shockingly intense full color lips. With the application of a gloss and the longevity of a lipstick, this lightweight, full-coverage formula will be a go-to for bold, vibrant lips! Made in Italy.

Although I only have three shades to share with you in this post, there are four shades in the launch of this new lip product. Here are the four shades:
  • 01 Red Extreme
  • 02 Pink Rave
  • 03 Fiery Coral
  • 04 Violet Addict

The only shade I don't have is the red shade, but if it's anything like the rest of these, you would have to really want a bold red lip to wear it!

I'm not sure if I should call these a gloss or a liquid lipstick, but I'm going to go with gloss for the sake of this review. These glosses are just as they say, shockingly intense full color!

My favorite of the three shades I have is hands down Violet Addict -- it's the perfect wearable bright purple for spring and summer, although I've been wearing it non-stop since I got it! If you only pick up one shade from the collection, get Violet Addict! The shade Pink Rave, which is a close second favorite, is a great wearable hot pink that has a bit of a deepness to it - which is what I think makes it a bit more wearable. Don't get me wrong, it's still very bright but it's more wearable. The only shade I didn't like is Fiery Coral -- which isn't a coral at all. It's definitely a neon Barbie pink; my camera didn't even pick up how neon this was.

They all go on very smoothly, with the except of the shade Fiery Coral - which seemed apply differently from the other two shades. It didn't go on as smoothly and seemed to really highlight any chapped and dry areas of my lips, making it look a bit odd. Maybe if you have really smooth lips the color would look better on you. Just for the record, my lips were in the same condition for all swatch photos, but yet the Fiery Coral shade just didn't apply the same.

They are very pigmented and very full coverage, but they are so lightweight. In fact, they feel like nothing on your lips; very comfortable. They're non-sticky and to me, have a bakery sweet scent that was hard to really describe. It was a nice scent that wasn't too intense.

The wear on these is great; they do last a long time - although of course how long they last will depend on how much you're eating, drinking, kissing, or whatever your mouth may be busy doing. They do stain - at least the shade Violet Addict does. After it worn off I noticed my lips were hot pink! I don't think that's necessarily a bad thing, because the stain it left was a different shade than the gloss - making it a two-in-one product and a two-colors-in-one product... right? maybe? yes? haha, I don't know. But I do think if you like the color it stains that you could just put a clear lip balm on over top and call it a day. I'm not sure how the other two shades stain, because honestly I haven't worn Fiery Coral since I swatched it (it's just not for me, at least not right now --- maybe in the summer). I've worn Pink Rave, but not long enough to know if it stains my lips a different color. All I know for sure is that Violet Addict left my lips hot pink.

Overall, I really think Milani hit a home run on this product! The formula is great, the colors are pretty, they're very pigmented and long-wearing. I for sure recommend Violet Addict, but of course go for one of the other shades if they suit your taste better.

Kale Naturals Sport Body Repair Cream - pics, swatches, review

Hello, Beautiful!

Way back in August, I reviewed the Kale Naturals Foaming Face Wash and the Kale Naturals Bamboo Face Scrub. I have another Kale Naturals product review to share with you in this post - their Sport Body Repair Cream. Check out the full review below, including all the product info, after the pics!

Kale Naturals Sport Body Repair Cream

Kale Naturals Sport Body Repair Cream Info & Review:
Cost/Availability: $24.00 (8 fl oz full size). Available on the Kale Naturals website, at Nordstrom, and everywhere else Kale Naturals are sold. Click here to find a retailer near you.
My Rating: 5 out of 5 Kisses

Kale Naturals Sport Body Repair Cream is perfect for very dry skin on heels, elbows and hands, and also for all-over body moisturizing needs - with it's intense hydration. Prevents itching and cracking while helping skin heal itself.

Contains peppermint oil to soothe and calm inflammation. Botanicals of aloe, soy, shea butter and Irish Moss help heal, soothe and replenish thristy, dry skin. Absorbs quickly without leaving skin feeling greasy. Does not contain parabens, petroleums, SLS, SLES.

This is a luxury men's body lotion, but that doesn't mean women can't use it - in fact, I've been using it more than my male product tester! This has a nice lightweight texture, but yet richly hydrates your skin without feeling greasy at all.

I love the peppermint scent - great for this time of year, but also year round if you're a fan of peppermint scents. It's not over whelming, so you won't smell like a candy cane to strangers across the room, but it's just peppermint enough to kind of wake you up and make you feel good.

My male product tester really liked this lotion, but did have a hard time justifying the $24 price tag. I think a lot of guys feel that way who don't really buy luxury products.

So far, everything from the Kale Naturals website has been a winner - not just in my book, but also to all my male product testers. I think this is a line worth checking out and this body repair cream would be perfect for the man in your life who wants to treat himself with a little tube of luxury body lotion.
