Carol's Daughter Macadamia Heat Setting Foam & Heat Protection Serum - pics, swatches, reviews

Hello, Beautiful!

Heat protectant products have been more and more incorportated into my hair care routine over the past couple years, but most recently this past year I've been trying out a bunch. I have two products from Carol's Daughter - which smell so good - to share with you in this post: the Carol's Daughter Macadamia Heat Setting Foam and the Carol's Daughter Heat Protection Serum. Check out my full review on each product, including all the product info, after each set of pics!

Carol's Daughter
Macadamia Heat Setting Foam

Carol's Daughter Macadamia Heat Setting Foam Info & Review:
Cost/Availability: $18.00 (6 fl oz full size is what I have) - although I think it now only comes in a 7.5 fl oz size, which is what the price is based on. Available on the Carol's Daughter website, at Ulta, at Sephora (only in a kit), at HSN, and everywhere else Carol's Daughter is sold.
My Rating: 4.5 out of 5 Kisses!

Made with heat-protecting, super-ingredient Macadamia Oil and honey extract, this lightweight, creamy foam helps wet style your hair without any flaky, crunchy or sticky residue. Perfect for roller-setting, molding, or wrapping your hair. Now you can get and keep that soft, enviable body that's always so hard to achieve. Plus, no parabens, no petroleum, no mineral oil, and no artificial colors.

Winner of Allure's Best of Beauty Award 2012 - Best Styling Product!

Honey extract helps to heal and seal split ends. Henna extract helps seal down your cuticle layers to protect against damage and enhance shine. Macadamia Oil creates a protective barrier against high temperatures from styling tools.

This is a great product to use if you like to use velcro rollers to get volume in your hair; it really helps to hold that style and give your hair even better results. That's what I mostly use this product for. Also nice if you like to braid your hair while wet and wait till it dries to take the braids out and get that perfect beachy wave look.

Would recommend to anyone who wet styles their hair. It smells soooo good too!

Carol's Daughter
Macadamia Heat Protection Serum

Carol's Daughter Macadamia Heat Protection Serum Info & Review:
Cost/Availability: $18.00 (1.5 fl oz full size is what I have) - although I do believe this only comes in a 2 oz size, which is what the pricing is for. Available on the Carol's Daughter website, at Ulta, at Sephora (only in a kit), at HSN, and everywhere else Carol's Daughter is sold.
My Rating: 5 out of 5 Kisses!

Frizz-fighting, smoothing gloss with thermal protection. Controls unmanageable frizz and protects against heat damage while styling your hair. The blend of Macadamia Oil and Hydrolyzed Silk smoothes your hair's texture for better shine and strengthens against daily wear and tear. Concentrated, so a little goes a long way, but never leaves your hair feeling greasy or heavy. Plus, no parabens, no petroleum, no mineral oil, and no artificial colors.

Macadamia Oil creates a protective barrier against high temperatures from styling tools. Hydrolyzed Silk helps fortify your hair against future damage. Biotin binds to your hair to help undo damage from heat styling.

I love this serum! It smells great and makes my hair soft and shiny. Perfect to use on your hair before flat ironing. Helps control frizz too and just makes everything looks sleek and smooth. Would recommend!
