Elegant Touch Envy Wraps in Silver Bengal Metallic - pics, review

Hello, Beautiful!

Nail stickers, nail strips, nail wraps - whatever you want to call them - I love them all because they're quick and easy. With how crazy busy my schedule has been I rely more and more on pre-done nail looks. I recently tried out the Elegant Touch Envy Wraps in the design Silver Bengal metallic.

Cost/Availability: $6.99 (per set of 24). Available for those of us in the USA at Ulta. Visit the Elegant Touch website to find a retailer near you (click on the 'Stockist' tab at the top).
My Rating: 3.5 out of 5 Kisses

A glamorous way for women to extend fashion to their own fingertips -- not to mention a huge celebrity trend right now. Envy Wraps from Elegant Touch are simple to apply and stay perfect for up to 10 days with no smudging, chips or drying time.

Each pack comes with 24 wraps that can be used for fingers and toes. Currently available in 3 styles: Gold Bengal, Silver Bengal, and Zebra.

They were simple to apply; just peel and stick. I followed the directions and applied a base coat first, then applied each to my nails and finished by filing off edges and adding a top coat. The file that's included with these nail wraps is pretty flimsy and thin but it gets the job done.

The package says you can use a blow dryer on low heat to help them adhere/stick, but I didn't have any issues with these sticking on their own.

These are designed for fingernails and toenails, so you may not have the best luck on getting exact size matches for your nails, but I was lucky enough to get an almost perfect match for each nail. I haven't tried them on my toes but have enough left over to give it a go.

For me these lasted about 2 days and then I got a chip in my index finger. The other nails were fine and after 5 days I decided to remove them. I peeled them off and used nail polish remover to remove any residue left over from the adhesive.

Only three designs available, which are all animal print - which likely will not appeal to everyone. Although there is a Bling version of the Envy Wraps. The design I have, Silver Bengal Metallic, looks prettier in the package but my nails weren't really long enough to get a good effect of the design. Instead it just kind of looked like a crackle effect in a way on me. I did, however, love the metallic-like finish - which was almost mirror like with the silver.

Overall, I thought these were pretty good and that's why I rated them a 3.5 out of 5 Kisses (meaning these are above average/good). I'd recommend giving them a try if you're in the market for metallic animal print nails.

Clark's Botanicals Ultra Rich Lip Tint in 04 Rachel Red - pics, swatches, review

Hello, Beautiful!

I recently tried out the Clark's Botanicals Ultra Rich Lip Tint and fell in love. The super smooth and hydrating formula glides on perfectly, giving lips moisturization and a pretty tint of color. The shade I have, Rachel Red, is the red for those of us who don't wear red. It leans more on the pink side and is beautifully sheer.

Ultra Rich Lip Tint
Shade: 04 Rachel Red

Clark's Botanicals Ultra Rich Lip Tint Info & Review:
Cost/Availability: $19.00 (0.40 oz full size). Available on the Clark's Botanicals website, on the Birchbox website, at Dermstore, and everywhere else Clark's Botanicals is sold.
My Rating: 5 out of 5 Kisses!

An intensely hydrating, tinted lip balm with a softening, non-sticky texture.

This exceptional lip balm features a nourishing formula that deeply hydrates, soothes and protects, as a burst of pigments brings warmth to your complexion. Shea butter, aloe leaf extract, jojoba, sweet almond oil and marine collagen microspheres work together to add immediate and lasting moisture to the lips. As if that wasn't luxurious enough, vanilla planifolia and jasmine offer and incredible flavor for extra enjoyable application.

Available in 6 shades. I have Rachel Red, which according to Clark's Botanicals website is inspired by actress Rachel Nichlos. Even though this is supposed to be red, to me it reads more pink - like a hot pink red. On my lips it turns out more pink, although red in certain lighting.

I did find it very hydrating at the texture is pure luxury. I'd love to try this out in other shades, like Carlotta Pink and Alexandra Rose. This lip balm is a little pricey, but I think well worth it.

I'd recommend checking these out!

Pacifica Solid Perfumes (full size & sample tins) - pics, review

Hello, Beautiful!

The brand Pacifica has come out with solid perfumes, which make they easy to travel with in convenient little tins. I have one full sized version as well as three sample tins. Sample tins are available for $2 each (you can choose 5 sample tins for $12.95 - which includes shipping), but you'll be able to choose one free when you spend $25, or two free when you spend $50, on the Pacifica website. The sample tins are a great way to try out their fragrances.

Toss these in your bag to refresh your scent on the go! Phthalate free and made with 100% natural coconut and soy wax. Pacifica's signature fragrance blends use natural and essential oils that work with your own body chemistry to become your own signature scent. Perfectly portable, affordable and adorable!

Currently available in 23 scents to choose from (full size) and 17 scents to choose from (sample size), you'll be able to find a scent perfect for you.

The full sized tins will last a very long time, but so will the sample size tins! They have about 1/3 of the full sized amount - giving you plenty of sampling time to enjoy and fall in love with a fragrance, or test, try and move on to another.

Hawaiian Ruby Guava is still my favorite Pacifica scent, but the next on my list to try are the Brazilian Mango Grapefruit and Island Vanilla (I already know I like the Tuscan Blood Orange and the Indian Coconut Nectar).

These solid perfumes are an affordable item - great for gifting too! I'd recommend trying out some, at least a few of the sample tins!

100% Pure Glossy Locks Honey Coconut Milk Shampoo & Conditioner - pics, swatches, reviews

Hello, Beautiful!

I recently tried out the 100% Pure Glossy Locks Honey Coconut Milk Shampoo & Conditioner. I loved the scent; it smells exactly as you'd expect (like a blend of honey and coconut). My hair was soft, shiny and healthy looking after using both these. I have the 2oz size, but these are available in two larger sizes (3.5 oz and 8 oz).

100% Pure Glossy Locks Honey Coconut Milk Shampoo & Conditioner Info & Review:
Cost/Availability: Both the shampoo and conditioner are available on the 100% Pure website. The shampoo is available in three sizes: 2 oz for $8.00, 3.5 oz for $11.00, and 8 oz for $16.00. The conditioner is available in three sizes: 2 oz for $8.00, 3.5 oz for $11.00, and 8 oz for $16.00.
My Rating: 4 out of 5 Kisses

Honey Coconut Milk Shampoo:
Gentle, hydrating shampoo will nourish your scalp and hair with natural nutrients to make hair healthy, glossy, hydrated and strong. All natural formula does not contain synthetic chemicals, artificial fragrances, chemical preservatives, sulfates or other detergents that can strip or dehydrate hair.

Before you open this be sure to shake well; this is a very liquid-y texture shampoo, so open over palms to avoid wasting any product.

Honey Coconut Milk Conditioner:
Super rich and moisturizing formula deeply conditions, detangles and nourishes without weighing hair down. This all natural, healthy-for-your-hair formula is free of synthetic chemicals, artificial fragrances, chemical preservatives and all other toxins.

Before opening be sure to shake well. Leave on for at least one minute before rinsing out, but the longer you leave it on the better.

This has a great rich, creamy texture. It doesn't smell as great as the shampoo, but still smells nice. It also had a playdoh scent mixed in with notes of honey and coconut (I know, that makes no sense but that's the best I can do to describe it.

My thoughts on both:
I liked using both this shampoo and conditioner. They smelled nice, cleaned my hair thoroughly, and left my hair soft, shiny and healthy feeling.

Overall, a good shampoo and conditioner that I would recommend giving a try -- especially if you want something that leaves out all the bad-for-your ingredients.
