Anastasia Want You To Want Me Eyeshadow Palette - Holiday 2012 - swatches, pics, review

Hello, Beautiful!

Anastasia's Holiday 2012 collection is beautiful, and the Want You To Want Me Eyeshadow Palette (which is more than just an eyeshadow palette) is certainly a holiday gift I'd want to receive. Includes nine pigmented shadows, a liquid liner, clear brow gel, and a duo-ended mini brush -- all for just $34!

Just the other day I posted about Anastasia's Kisses On My List Volume 2 Hydrafull Gloss Set, which includes six full sized glosses and is part of her Holiday 2012 collection. In this post I'll show you the gorgeous, and very affordable, Want You To Want Me Eyeshadow Palette. Just like the gloss set, this shadow palette is inspired by the 70's.

Anastasia Want You To Want Me Eyeshadow Palette Review:
This is a fantastic set at an even more fantastic price! For just $34 you get a shadow palette that contains nine matte and shimmer shades, plus a mini liquid liner, mini clear brow gel, and a mini duo-ended brush.

The eyeshadow palette is very pretty. Contains nude and plum shades, great for the holiday season. You can apply these shadows wet or dry, all over or as liner. The shade range leaves you with many eye looks, from natural to smoky and everything in between. The shadows are smooth, velvety, and have great pigmentation. I always use a shadow primer, so these lasted all day without fading or creasing.

The mini duo-ended brush is nice, although I normally don't use the mini brushes included with kits (only because I have so many full-sized shadow brushes to use). However, if you don't have other brushes or need a mini for travel, this is a decent one.

The liquid liner has nice pigmentation too. It's sometimes nicer to use a liquid liner, especially to get a crisp, defined eye.

The clear brow gel is a favorite of mine. It keeps my brows tame all day without making them crunchy, flaky or shiny.

Overall, a really great kit for the holidays as a gift to give or a gift to keep. I'd recommend!
