BFTE Cosmetics Mineral Eye Shadow Review:
I really loved the BFTE Cosmetics Mineral Eye Shadows! They are richly pigmented and so much prettier in person. I couldn't wait to start using them, and I've gotten many compliments on my eye makeup whenever I wear them.

The first shade I couldn't wait to use was Meteor Shower. It is gorgeous in the jar and when swatched, so I couldn't wait to get it on my eyes. I was a little disappointed that some of the gorgeous rainbow shimmer was lost when blended on my lids, but if you pat it on you'll get that great look you want from it.

The next shade I fell in love with was Gable. A gorgeous chocolate brown with golden shimmer. Again, some of the shimmer was lost when blended but remained when patted on. Gable is probably my new favorite brown; I'm actually wearing it at this very moment that I'm writing this post.

The other shades are beautiful too. Alakazam is gorgeous, Wizard's Wand is a great neutral, and Dangerous is a great liner shade. Dragon Slayer is unlike any other shade I currently own, and Clara is just so pretty... reminds me of golden lemonade. Really, I love all the shades and can't wait to get more!

I'd recommend these shadows!!

  1. I have heard and seen the amazing products that BFTE offered but never actually purchase their products. I just could not decide what to get since there are so many to choose from, and I don't want to order the full size. Can you please tell me if you have any idea of how long the sample size jar will last??

  3. BFTE is my top company, I own countless products from them. I have several of these shades and my favorites have to be Spring Fever and Dragon Slayer, the latter being perfect for Fall which is just around the corner! ;)

  4. APPLY WET. Biggggggg difference, especially with Meteor Shower!

  5. @ ngocupham: Not sure how long a sample jar will last, as some were more full than others. You still get a good amount of product in the sample jars, and depending on how much you use I think they're worth it -- especially if you want to try a bunch of colors before you commit to full sized jars.

@ MissKatsu: I agree about applying them wet, or patting them on directly over primer gets a similar result.
