TINte Cosmetics Flavored Lip Shine in Mynt Kiss - swatches, pics, review

Hello, Beautiful!

Back in April I reviewed TINte Cosmetic's Flavored Lip Shine in the shade Double Bubble (I also reviewed their Match Book in Smoky Eyes). In this post I'll show you their Flavored Lip Shine in the shade Mynt Kiss - which I prefer over Double Bubble (although I do love that bubble gum flavor/scent).

Before I get into the pics and swatches, I wanted to re-mention the Beauty Insider Team opportunity TINte Cosmetics offers. Right now it's a ground floor opportunity and you can get started for just $99, which includes 13 full sized products. The way it works is simple: you earn commission on the products you sell, allowing you to build your own work-from-home business. CLICK HERE for all the info.

TINte Cosmetics Flavored Lip Shine Review:
I've tried TINte's Flavored Lip Shines before, in the shade Double Bubble (click HERE for that review), but wanted to try other shades.

The shade Mynt Kiss is a pretty pink rose with shimmer, and I like the shade better than Double Bubble. However, I like the way Double Bubble smelled/tasted better -- the bubble gum scent/flavor was delicious! The mint scent/flavor of Mynt Kiss is nice too; nothing to complain about there.

I like the formulation of this gloss. It's moisturizing and feels great on my lips. Lasts an average amount of time for a gloss, and of course how long it lasts will depend on how much you're talking, eating, kissing, etc. while wearing it.

Overall, I'd recommend these!

Wear them dry or wet, on their own or over shadow primer, you really can't go wrong with this palette.

Anastasia She Wears It Well Eye Shadow Palette Review:
I really liked this palette. It has great neutral shades that will go with any eye color, and you can create many looks for day or night with this one palette.

I don't always go for brown neutrals because they can be boring, but I've been loving this palette. Makes my eyes look great without looking over done, but still having something special to them. Because I received this palette to try out from Anastasia, I received the look cards with it. Out of all the look cards, my favorite is Eyes And Dolls Anytime Eyes. But really, I love playing around and creating my own looks.

The pigmentation is nice with these shadows, although of course best when applied over eyeshadow primer or when applied wet.

Overall, a great neutral palette that will take you from day to night!

Mally Face Defender Liquid Foundation in Medium - swatches, before & after, pics

Hello, Beautiful!

I am obsessed with Mally products and always look forward to what she's going to introduce next. One of her newest products, her Face Defender Liquid Foundation, caught my attention - but with caution. I was cautious because I wasn't sure it would provide enough coverage. For some reason I was thinking this was more of a BB Cream or tinted moisturizer - but it's not! After using it, I was really impressed with the coverage, although still not full coverage to cover all my flaws. I liked the way it went on my skin and the staying power - even on my oily skin. I think this is a great foundation, and when my skin isn't having a huge freak out (like at the moment) this will be all my skin needs. For now though, I pair this with a powder foundation on top, and/or concealer, to get a flawless face.

Mally Face Defender Liquid Foundation
Before & After

Basic Stats for Mally Face Defender Liquid Foundation:
Formula: liquid - although more of a creamy mousse texture
Wear: average to above average
Coverage: light to medium; buildable
Shade Info: currently available in 5 shades
Cost/Availability: $45.00 (1.8 fl oz full size). Available on QVC's website, and eventually on Mally's website.
Packaging: squeeze tube with twist-off cap
My Rating: 4 out of 5 Kisses

Formula:
This oil-free liquid foundation has a creamy mousse-like texture that glides onto skin like silk and blends in like a dream. Skin feels velvety smooth, skintone appears even, and skin looks beautiful. Contains anti-aging ingredients and SPF 15.

Wear:
Average to above average wear. For me, this had great wear on its own and even better when paired with a primer. Touch-up's are simple and blend effortlessly.

Coverage:
I list this as a light to medium coverage foundation. Depending how you apply, this foundation could easily go from light to medium coverage... even full coverage depending on what you consider full coverage.

Shade Info:
Currently available in 5 shades.

Cost/Availability:
$45.00 (1.8 fl oz full size). Available on QVC's website, and eventually on Mally's website.

Packaging:
Squeeze tube with twist-off cap.

Mally Face Defender Liquid Foundation Review:
I always like to try new foundations, especially from Mally. This foundation caught my attention but I really wasn't sure if this would be a good fit for me and all the flaws I need to cover. I don't know why, but I thought this would be more like a tinted moisturizer or BB cream. I was pleasantly surprised to see the coverage, the texture, and the way my skin looked.

The Medium shade I chose was a great match for my skintone. A lot of people complain that Mally's foundation have too much orange in them, and I agree that sometimes they can (especially the Medium shade), but this was a great Medium color that seemed to be perfect.

The texture of this liquid foundation is more like a creamy mousse. It glides onto skin like silk and blends in effortlessly. It dries down in a few minutes, which is pretty quick for my oily skintone, and leaves your skin velvety soft and smooth. I find myself using my fingers to apply (clean, just-washed fingers), because the warmth from my hands perfectly blends everything. You can use a sponge or brush, of course, but you could throw this in your bag and apply with your fingers without any worry of spotty application.

The coverage is light to medium, although you can build the coverage. Depending how you apply this, you could get light to full coverage. It doesn't feel heavy or look cakey. It looks natural and once dried down, feels like nothing on your skin.

Overall, I was really happy with this foundation. I call it my effortless foundation because it takes seconds to apply and quickly makes my face look great. I look forward to using it more! I'd recommend checking it out!

Youngblood Minty Shiny Lip Gel Review:
I was really excited to test drive the new Minty Shiny Lip Gel from Youngblood Mineral Cosmetics. The two shades I have are Unveiled and Confessed. They look similar in color, except Unveiled has shimmer in it and Confessed is slightly more red in tone. They both look brighter/more intense in color in the tube than they actually look on your lips. As you can see in the swatch photos, they appear lighter in color over the white background than on my hand. The more pigmented your lips are, the brighter/more intense the color will appear.

I like the fact that these glosses are sheer because they provide the perfect pop of color to go with almost any look. Out of the two shades I have, I've used Unveiled more but I like they both shades equally. The shade Bared looks like a gorgeous nude, and is the next shade I'd want to try.

The thing I love about these the most is how shiny they are. My lips are super glossy every time I wear these, unless I apply a thin layer (like shown on my lips in the photo of me wearing the shade Unveiled, where I applied a thinner layer). They're non-sticky and will last an average amount of time for a gloss.

Probably the only negative I could say is the price; at $25.50 per tube I feel like you don't get a lot of product. I'm already 3/4 the way done with the shade Unveiled and I rarely go through lip gloss like that. Catch them on a sale or with a coupon if the price bothers you. Other than that, these glosses - or should I say Lip Gels - are fantastic! They're shiny, moisturizing, non-sticky and pretty on the lips. I'd recommend!
